Day 1 - Monday, January 30.
John Chapter 1 It continues to amaze me how God descended from heaven to become human. I can’t imagine what that would have been like. Would he have known from the very beginning that he was the son of God? If so, he could have asked to go back at any moment, but he didn’t. He lived and suffered on earth for long enough to teach wisdom to his people. It also begs the question, did Jesus exist...

If I forget one day, (or my partner forgets one day), I have to start from the last checkpoint. (The checkpoints are like every fifteen days.)  If anybody else is struggling to find motivation to read the bible, it would be awesome if you read along with me! The first 19 days...

xiao668 asked: Could you share my christian blog on your 'other christian blogs' page? It's nothing quite special, I mainly reblog pictures, share christian videos I find, christian links and music. It's psalms86@tumblr, no less.

sweetmariep asked: I'm not saying that I'm an expert on yoga OR Hindu religions, but I took a religion class a couple years ago and remember studying yoga in the class. It is definitely related to Hinduism. I think the exercise side of it is fine-God wants us to take care of our bodies because they are temples of His spirit. BUT we are supposed to follow His Spirit, and if someone feels even SLIGHTLY...

allsinsarewashed answered your question: So apparently a lot of Christians believe yoga… What? Why? I know right? I mean just because something is originally from another culture/religion doesn’t make it inherently bad… like christmas trees were originally pagan, yet today they are a christmas staple.  This is an article written by Mars Hill Church pastor Mark...

We live in an increasingly disposable society. Everything is disposable and temporary. It used to be that everything lasted longer, right down to the plates we eat off of and the furniture we sit on. People made things of real quality and craftsmanship and used them all their lives and even passed them on to their children. They were precious. They were sometimes fragile. They needed to be cared...
